¡'Stu' es en español! ¡Olé!
I am so pleased to announce that 'Stu' my little chameleon with an identity crisis is now available in Spanish. Why? I live in a beautiful town on the Costa Blanca here in Spain and when 'Who's Stu?' launched, it generated alot of interest amongst my Spanish friends, so why should they miss out? I AM in their country after all, it's only fair that Stu should tell his story in the local language.
I am quite excited that Amazon has made it so easy for me to produce books in other languages like this and you can be sure there will be more translation of all my books in future. At the moment I am working on a version in Valenciano, the REALLY LOCAL language here, which I hope to launch in the next few weeks. But with the internet's global reach, the possibilities are endless.I LOVE languages. I am continually fascinated by the different ways people all over the world express things. And I am already discovering the subtleties, within when things don't translate directly from English. It's an exciting and interesting challenge to collaborate with my translators to come up with other ways of expressing my ideas within the structure of a different language without drifting too far from the original concept. If any of you out there are translators, I guess you already know the challenge - and probably thrive on it, I know I would.
If you know any Spanish-speaking niños who would love to meet Stu, el camaleón, just share this link with someone who might like to buy it for them:
